How we protect your data
Your imaging backup is encrypted, access-controlled, and hosted on audited infrastructure.
Encryption
All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3. Your images and study metadata are never stored unencrypted.
Access Controls
Role-based access control ensures that only authorized personnel can access your data. Multi-factor authentication is available for all accounts.
Data Retention
We maintain clear data retention policies. You can request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to our Privacy Policy terms.
Read-Only Backup
The VetPACS Agent only reads studies from your PACS and sends encrypted copies to the cloud. Your original data is never modified or deleted.
Infrastructure security
Cloud Provider
We use DigitalOcean's SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure, with data centers that maintain strict physical and environmental security controls.
Regular Audits
We conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Monitoring
24/7 monitoring and alerting helps us detect and respond to potential security incidents quickly.
